BioThe Girl: My name is Kati. I'm 21 years old. I'm engaged to Mark and we will be getting married on August 12, 2006. Currently, I'm attending Eastern Michigan University and plan to graduate in April with a Written Communications major and a Literature minor. I love to write and am currently working on writing three different novels. I've worked at a tanning salon for the past 4 years. I live with my family right now in Michigan, but will be moving out in August with Mark.
The Love Story: Mark and I actually met on an AIM search in July 2001. (I know, dorky, right?) We met up on July 18, 2001 at Applebee's and started dating exclusively after that. He had just moved from Kansas. We dated until he dumped me in October. Shortly after that, he tried to get me back, but I already had a new boyfriend. We remained best friends all through the next couple of years, but we would always fight when one of us had a new significant other. In January, after I had a really rough break-up with another guy, Mark was there for me. Everything finally clicked together and we started dating on February 15, 2005. He proposed to me on May 15, 2005. Some people think it's short, but when you've been best friends with someone for almost 4 years, it doesn't matter. I can't imagine my life without him and I can not wait to marry him. (Can't you tell by my username and e-mail address?)
Likes: I like everything in my interests below. But, I really like shopping (perhaps a little too much!!!), "reality" TV shows, New York Yankees, renting movies, clothes and anything that has to do with making me feel pretty!
Dislikes: Boston Red Sox, liars, fake girls, bitches, medical TV shows.
